Acting Fundamentals
for Stage and Screen

Step into a focused, encouraging space where actors build real skills through practice, feedback, and repetition.
Acting Fundamentals for Stage and Screen is a four-week training course designed for adults at any experience level. Whether you are brand new to acting or looking to sharpen your craft, this class gives you practical tools you can use immediately in rehearsals, auditions, and performances.
Each week blends hands-on exercises with scene work, monologues, and improv so you learn by doing, not just by listening.
You will work on:
- Scene work and monologues
- Character development
- Improvisation and spontaneity
- Overcoming inhibitions and self-consciousness
- Relaxation and focus techniques
- Audition preparation, including cold reads and monologues
- Common industry terms and professional practices
Ideal for:
- First-time actors who want a supportive starting point
- Experienced performers who want to stay sharp
- Anyone looking to build confidence, presence, and expressive skills
This course is intentionally designed to be taken more than once. Exercises and material change each session, so returning actors continue to grow.
Enrollment is capped at 15 actors to allow for personalized coaching and feedback.
Tuition: $165 per student

Sharpen Your Audition and Script Reading Skills

Cold reads are the most common audition format and often the most intimidating.
This one-day intensive workshop is designed to remove that fear and replace it with confidence, clarity, and technique.
You will practice reading from scripts you have never seen before while learning exactly how to break down material quickly, make strong choices, and present yourself like a prepared professional, even with no preparation time.
This workshop includes:
- Script breakdown techniques you can use in seconds
- Guided cold read exercises
- Character development strategies on the fly
- What to do and what not to do in auditions
- Individual feedback from the instructor and peers
Open to beginners and experienced actors alike.
Enrollment is capped at 12 actors to keep the experience focused and personal.
Tuition: $95 per student
